Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As we gather together on this beautiful spring morning, we are reminded of the power and beauty of God’s creation. The changing of the seasons, the blooming of flowers, and the lengthening of days are all signs of the constant renewal and growth that God brings to our world.

Today, we also experience the phenomenon of “spring forward,” as we adjust our clocks and move forward one hour. This simple act can have a profound impact on our daily lives, reminding us of the importance of time and how it affects our relationship with God.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1, we read, “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” This verse reminds us that God has a plan for each and every one of us, and that every moment is an opportunity to fulfill that plan.

However, it can be easy to become distracted or overwhelmed by the fast pace of life, especially as we adjust to the time change. We may feel like there is not enough time in the day to accomplish all that we need to do, or we may struggle to find time for prayer and reflection in the midst of our busy schedules.

But even in the midst of these challenges, we can trust that God is with us every step of the way. As we set our clocks forward, let us also set our hearts and minds forward, trusting in God’s guidance and provision for our lives.

In Psalm 90:12, we read, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” This verse reminds us of the importance of using our time wisely, cherishing every moment as a gift from God and seeking to make the most of each day.

As we move forward into this new season and adjust to the time change, let us remember the power and beauty of God’s creation, the importance of time, and the constant presence of God in our lives. May we use our time wisely, seeking to fulfill God’s plan for our lives and to share his love and grace with others.

May God bless each and every one of you, and may he guide us as we move forward in faith.

    Amen.
